Cute dawg, too many syllables so far. Needs a shorter name, it will come to you.

I've always been of the opinion that any adopted/rescued dog should be named Lucky.

Name that dog Hammer.
edit to add, it looks like he needs his nails trimmed. edit again, maybe not. I obsess about dog nails. |

If he's not a pup, then name him something that sounds close to what the original owner called him.
Most dogs are smart enough to know their own name. A change will confuse him if he's used to it. |

Chance is another one, because they got a second chance. Seriously, avoid cliche shit, pick a name that fits the dogs behavior. My little guy I got out of a puppy mill I originally named Buster, because he got busted out. Literally, by a cop raid. Now, he answers to Little Nut. Got that one from my brother, who watched him hump my GSD one night and said, "If he busts a nut, it'll be a little nut." Buster's 7 pounds of fury and sexual aggression against my GSD, so Little Nut fits. |
