I clicked on your post to dispute you if you had posted anything different. Drinking that in Czech Republic  is about the only thing better.  Bravo

4 into the 6 pack. Wish I had brought home two.

The anti-hoppy IPA shit. So crisp and clean.

This is my go to euro pilsner. If you haven't tried it you're missing out.

So much great beer in eastern Europe.  Especially the Bohemian region.

Pretty refreshing. I like a clean, crisp, smooth beer. Not one that is fighting my taste buds the whole time. It's a good beer to get deep into a 12 pack when you have a whole day ahead of you.

Truth.

You could spend a lifetime bumming around Europe drinking beer and not even scratch the surface of great beers.

I partial to this, but I lived outside the town it is brewed in for 6 years...

For the local Czech days I brewed a Pilsner Urquell clone.  It was very yummy.

Can't say that I disagree with you, OP. If you ever get the chance, you should check it out in country, when it's fresh. World of difference.

I doubt I'll ever be there. There are a few bars here that have it on tap and even that is better than the bottled. As good as bottled is.

Not a fan of green glass for bottled beer.

There is a pub here where you can get it fresh out of the tank.  No kidding, a truck comes and they pump it directly into this copper tank sitting in the bar.   'Oldest' pint of it I've had was only a week old.

Mash 10lbs of corn flakes and 8lbs of rice @ 152 for 60 minutes.
90 minute boil. At 60 minutes, show the boil kettle a photo of a hop plant.
Pitch some lager yeast

J/K I wish I could brew a crisp pilsner such as that.

I've brewed several pilsners with varying success.  The problem I have is the pilsner malt is so floury, it's hard to get a clear beer.  Adding in a fresh quart of wort about 12 days into fermentation  helps clear up any diacetyl problems.  Just my 2 cents on brewing cold fermented beer.

Swill, one of the surviving Brewers after Prohibition forced on American public in the name profits not quality. The major Brewers hampered craft ( quality) Brewers from starting for decades. If it's one of the few beers you have been drinking since keg parties in high school you would not know any better.

Natural Light is only suitable for consumption through a funnel, or in a red cup after a ping pong ball has landed inside.

Oh sick burn bro. I wouldn't know, I don't own either. Keep it ignorant though so you appreciate the finer things in life like Natty Light.

Not a bad beer at all and pretty common (in bottles,) at restaurants. Victory Prima Pils is my favorite commercial Pils right behind Weinstaphner Pils but PU is defiantly acceptable.

So, who here knows about BudVar and Budwiser?
