Yeah, I guess a lot of downtown Anchorage is shut off as well for traffic. People are kinda mad. Yesterday through the next few days is the busiest flying days up here usually every year because Moose season just opened. Lot of people not gonna get their meat for the freezer this year so he can be on the Reality TV show with Grylls.

I got picked up at drop camp and flown back in to Kotzebue on September 9th, 2001.
Two days later all hell broke loose. Guys in the bush were left out there for two weeks more in the bush, not knowing what the heck happened to their pilot. There weren't any planes flying anywhere ... it was eerie. |

Yep, I was in at moose camp, called the wife from up on the ridge, of course she was freaking out, got her calmed down, had her get together some supplies and guns and ammo and put it all in the crawlspace of our house along with clothes, bags and camping gear..told her if anything local happened just take the kids down there and don't come out till I got there... so I packed camp, loaded the buggies and drove the 90 miles back out to the road, jumped in my pickup and hauled ass to town... came back 3 days later and went back in...but it was weird to be out hunting and never see/hear a plane...finally did the last few days of season..... |

Shit, here I sit in Incheon waiting on my plane out of Anchorage. I got delayed about 15 hours and it never occured to me it was FBHO. Dammit.
He is costing me money, again. I lost my tail end trip at the end of my pattern, and 24 hour layover in Shanghai. TL:dr……………………FBHO |
