Look what I fished up yesterday. It was about 15-20 feet down...













It was brand new... Guy fell off on a sharp turn and it went right into the lake which is an old quarry. They said it was on the ledge of dropping down another 10 feet or so.

Did something similar, but not as bad, once in my jeep.  Bent the front driveshaft on the unforeseen ledge.  I'd like to say I learned my lesson about scouting before entering mud, but that would be a lie.  Sometimes wish I grew up in the digital camera age but its probably best I did not.

Never pull from the axle. At that angle they should have used a fulcrum.

I saw a Durango with the doors pulled of yesterday. Not lifted, street tires. country a/c at it's best.
