He's just a really rich guy with cool toys and advanced martial arts training.

Agreed.  He's a vigilante.

So Ironman/Tony Stark isn't one either?

Correct.  Punisher also NOT a superhero.  Antihero, vigilante, or hero, depending on punisher or batman.  No super powers, no super hero.

Nope, again, really rich guy, really smart, really cool toys, not a "Super" hero.

You are correct. He may be the "world's greatest detective" but he's still just a dude.

He is the world's greatest detective.

Now all super powers are lasers and shit...

Being a super genius and being the world's greatest detective would make him a "super hero".

If money is your argument then you've cut like half of the superheros down.

Exactly.

The punisher would be a "super" killer.

Can riches be a super power? Batman wouldn't be Batman without the gadgets. The gadgets come from the money.

If not, fine, he's not a superhero. He's still a badass. And possible.

Don't confuse super hero with one that holds super powers.

You can be a super hero without super powers.

Just because you have super powers does not make you a super hero.

He's also a passive-aggressive pussy.

Sure, he'll go all Jackie Chan on some POS but he won't actually pull the trigger on a bad guy and remove a threat. He has no problem with letting them die by their own hand while he stands around scratching his bat-ass and preaching some sanctimonious bullshit.

Michael Keaton does not have a raspy voice, and he is Batman.

I've always defined a comic superhero as someone who battles evil with abilities beyond what a normal person could possess. It doesn't matter if it came from a serum, radiation, etc. or they were born with it.

Correct, he's not a superhero, he's a vigilante.

The fact that he is not a superhero and still manages to kick ass is why I find him to be super fucking awesome!

Pretty much...except Bruce Wayne could get his hands on kryptonite.

I'm not sure I'd be able to track any down, or purchase it.

Superman would have killed batman in the comics..he held back however.

Batman came very prepared...

But at the end of the day...one on one fight...Superman is going to win.

If you ever played Marvel Superheros in the 90s (a lot like a D&D game), their definition of a hero is someone who does the right thing at the right time.  Their definition of a super hero is someone that does it with super powers.  Basically having super powers has nothing to do with being a hero.

When they stop making money hand over fist, they will.

They're printing money right now, so you might as well get used to it.
