If so, I was just wondering what you saw/see in a vehicle that, IMO, has got to be the ugliest vehicles ever designed.  These "automobiles" rank right up there with the (Thing) and the (Gremlin) and the (Pacer).  I would have thought that the automobile manufacturers should have learned their lessons 25 years ago. Then again I guess history really does repeat itself, or maybe our present day designers have failed to study the past and are destined to repeat past failures.........

Those models were designed with fuel efficency as the top priority. Second priority was making them street legal for the US market. Everything else, including appearance is a distant third.

17 gallons of 87 octaine cost me $32.00 today! So a car that gets 50MPG isnt so ugly to me right now.
