I posted my profile pic with a confederate overlay that another member did for me and am catching a little flak for it. Anyone else?

A friend of a friend and her little hipster group dog piled me over it, it was like I got hit by a wave of stupid.
|
|
My half Puerto Rican cousin is taking offense to it and told me to take it down

I prefer that than all the fucking "equality" rainbow avatars everyone seems to think is cool now.

This is no longer a free country.
Your abhorent behavior is not appreciated... |

...for posting the confederate flag on Facebook? View Quote Why would I do that? |

No, anyone who would try and give me shit would be promptly deleted.

Social engineering is alive and well in America. A lot of the people sporting rainbows are also going nuts about the Battle Flag. They are more offended by this flag then they are how ISIS treats gay people. In fact they don't want to even have an opinion on it.
The only comment I made was on a black dude's page about the KKK. I explained how the membership is .001% of the number reported in the 1920s, they no longer represent in the Democratic Convention, nor do they hang white Republicans like they did just shy of half the time. My bros liked it, but defending the Battle Flag would have been tougher. We should be able to sport the flag without all this BS, but I think once the war was over it should have been removed from official state sponsorship. |
|
When I saw the current trend was battle flags. Then SUPPPERRRRRR flags, that's I sign to not take part in either.
When I see the butthurt both cause on my facebook it's free comedy. |
|
No, people are too busy bitching about my nazi flag. Also can't believe all the butthurt I get from pacfic WWII vets over my japan battle flag. What? I can't show my heritage (german father, japanese mother)?

How a bout someone make a rainbow/confederate flag? That oughta getem going!

I haven't but then again I've weeded all the fucktards off my feed

In need of a good article explaining the meaning of the flag as I am not good with words

I'm from Michigan and live in Oregon.
While I do not have anything against people flying any Confederate flag, being that my only known ancestor that was in the US prior to the civil war was in Ohio, I think it would be phony as fuck to display one myself. You can fly whatever flag you want, be it covered in pink swastikas, care bears, rainbows or with a giant likeness of Kim Jong-il. That's your business. However, like many of the people in this silly flag war, I'll think that you are a poseur if you are living in Rhode Island as a third generation that never left New England flying something that doesn't actually represent you. You also shouldn't get butt hurt when people bring up history of that flag and tell you that they dislike it. |

I was more subtle and changed my pic to a picture of General Robert E. Lee.....
The libtards had no idea who he was and therefore did not bitch about it because the typical libtard is a know-nothing dipshit. It's good being smarter than the average human being |
|
I put one as my cover photo. Some dipshit I served with in the army with prattled on about them being losers and second place Didn't really know how to respond so I hit him with silly memes because he's an idiot

Since today is 'forum spook' day (from here), I will ask, "what's it to you?
I neither confirm nor deny that I participate on facebook. What is the information worth to you? Info is not free. Do they have an information marketplace on EE? I want some $$ for any info I give. |

No, but I got a dozen likes and people congratulating my on changing my cover photo....
We're all just a buncha rednecks |

I hear the more one posts on facebook, the more apt they are to like it up the ass.

They don't like it, fuck them. They can always click the unfriend button. What you should do is get rid of that shit. Give it two weeks and then make another thread about how the drama and bullshit in your life just dropped 50% or so...

View Quote The sole reason for posting that should have been figuring out who to remove from your "friends" list. I don't really post to FB anymore. It was fun at first, but I felt like a little teeny bopper attention whore that wants the world to view me as a special snowflake, and I hate that shit. |

I deleted all of the liberals and democrats off my list back in 2008. All I see now are fishing, guns, airplanes and more guns.
I still have a couple Lib friends left, but I've unfollowed them or they know better than to reply to anything I conservative that I post. |
|
I had one lib pull the race card, won the argument and then removed him from my friends list the next day.

Just call them fascists, then ask where their tolerance went.
