If any of you aren't playing the nfa game you aught to. Salad days for AR's? Nope making a suppressor is just as easy if not easier. 8 inch Ti can, Ti end caps and this beauty. $216 not including tax stamp. Here you go.

OP let's see what'cha got. Homemade cans are making big strides, now that there are websites dedicated to providing the components. A homemade can may or may not perform as well as my H.E.M.S 2 or Octane 45 HD, but just the fact that you can make it yourself has a lot of appeal to a lot of people.
Now we just need to get individual baffles (purpose made, not re-purposed freeze plugs, valve retainers or whatever) allowed to be bought and sold, that would open things up a lot. |

What are you using as a booster/pederson thingy?
I agree that building your own suppressor is totally the way to go.  (That way, when you realize how pointless suppressors are, you won't have wasted as much money.  )

Franky four fingers got his finger back!
Size comparison.  Specs: 8in Titanium tube. Endcap is To. Attachment end is SS and made for Griffin Armament taper mounts. The 1911 bbl bushing on the endcap can be used to disassemble the can. The attachment end is slotted for an AR armorer's wrench. The spare tube is 4 inches of Titanium used for spacing out the first few baffles. |

.368" will put a large hole in the center of that 1911 bushing wrench bump, but I wonder if you could still get a skull etched into it and have it look good.

Could you explain how the suppressor will mount? I see the barrel bushing on the end cap, so I'm guessing that will be used to lock it in place on the 1911? Thanks and very nice! |

Because they were my first cans, and I expected them to be awesome (based on all the hype on arfcom) - but they were what led me to realize how pointless suppressors are for most things. Unfortunately, I already had two other cans waiting for Form 4 approval when I built the those, so now I have a total of four do-nothing tubes.
