My wife and I are looking to take our 4 year old son to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg VA in the beginning of August.  Sometimes AAA offers a discount for certain things. However, this looks like they offer discounts at some of the Busch Gardens parks but not the one in VA.  Any clue why?  Any suggestions on where to find decent discounts at the park in VA?

Thanks

Absolutely no idea, but it's the best theme park in the state in my opinion, so worth going to even if you can't find coupons.

Try these maybe?

Oh no argument here!! I haven't been there in 10-15 years but it is probably my favorite theme park about even with Epcot.

But any time I can save a few bucks that's fine with me.

Thanks

Look for combined Colonial Williamsburg/Busch Gardens tickets:

I believe the "Summer Bounce" has kids 0-5 listed as free...

I wouldn't go. I hear all they have is finger food. And they are holding the .22lr on a pallet in the back and won't let you buy any.

While I appreciate the link, my little guy is only 4.  He wouldn't appreciate Colonial Williamsburg.  In a few years we'll head back and add that to the itinerary.

Thanks

You should do the math -- not 100% sure, but the "Summer Bounce" lists 0-5 as free:

so, even if you don't actually spend time in CW, it could still be cheaper...  again, not sure on the math depending on how long you are staying, etc.

I have not personally verified anything at this link, but looks promising: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/buschgardens.com

If you're not planning to go until August ,I wouldn't worry to much about buying your tickets now. I'd wait till the end of July and google discount Bush Gardens tickets. Right now they're hopping, around the second week of August some of the schools start back up and they'll run some discounts. Its also a little less crowded, especially during midweek.

That's the way I've been doing it and it seems to have worked the last couple years.

I agree with this too.

May have been for VA residents only, but a couple of years ago they had a deal in mid August where you paid for a day and could come back for the rest of the season including Howl-o-scream. I'm hoping for that again this year. Of course this probably doesn't help much in your case
