What is a good reliable surplus ammo in .45 and where can I get some?

I'm tired of paying 12.96 a box at Walmart and more than that at the local range for 50 rounds.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion but for the time involved in reloading I would rather pay the money to buy them.

Before you dismiss reloading altogether,Look at a dillon Square deal b, you could probably load 100rnds in about 20 mintues or so, If that's not fast enough for you nothing is....

I'm using the PMP ammo and loving it.  Try gunsnammo.com or Centuryarms.com.  I bought 500 for $85.

Centerfire has WWII GI ball in reloadable brass for $90 or so for 756 round sealed tin.

Kinda dirty and they say they have corrosive primers...but cheap!
