The board was running fine.Something happened and they need time to find out what and fix it.
If you have no patience,that is your problem.
Would you give us a link to your gunboard so we can tell you if it is a POS or a treassure?
I agree the thing needs fixing,but damn...[B] can't you say it a bit nicer and with less freeking arrogance?[/B]
Now please go and use the dull knife and do us all a favor.At least it will keep you busy and away from typing for a couple of days!!

If responses to problems are going to be so rudely commented on or if people are going to complain, then expect the site to be down while corrections take place.

A server problem was encountered, we'll see if this recent adjustment brings it back to life... strange things going on which have not been simple to diagnose and correct. If this doesnt fix it, we may take things down for a day or two to resolve.

The fact that I or anybody else posts to answer your complaints does not mean the problem will be fixed any sooner, or that we are more concerned than when the problem is noted in a less arrogant way.It just gives you an idea of how annoying the poster is.The fact that when you complained politely before, and some members "flamed", you does not give you an excuse for being a jerk the next time.I still don't see your link to your gunboard so we can evaluate it.

I will give you a better solution.If you don't like something here and don't feel like being civil while stating the nature of the problem,DON'T POST until it is fixed.

First off, let me say that I have in the past refrained from posting even in response to people that have been complete A-Holes. I believe in handling such disagreements in private rather than wasting resources and time in public. However, on this particular day, for whatever reason, I have found a new motivation to respond to each one...

This post goes out to you Gunslinger, since you seem to crave the attention. I will respond to your comments pesonally.

Had you stopped right there, you would have stated your case, and acted accordingly to make your point. We would all miss you terribly but would get on with our lives eventually.

Congrats- you recognized that the site is not working correctly. Very keen observation, and we thank you for bringing it to our attention. We would be working on a faster solution, but instead need to take the time out of doing that to respond to people like yourself so that you don't feel unappreciated.





In case you are "another example of someone that for some inexplicable reason can type and write but reading eludes them" I will clarify something that others have written and alluded to:
I think I speak for the majority here when I say that most of us are just wondering when [b]you[/b] will decide it's not worth the effort and stop posting.

So go hang out at your firearms site, and when you get bored, you'll be welcomed back here I'm sure. Until then, don't "let the door hit you in the ass!"

Glad to see everything is running smooth once again.

You guys (and gals!) need to realize that this is a full time job on top of the full time jobs we already have! Sometimes it takes us a bit to get to a problem and sometimes, like the speed issue, it takes some time to solve a problem.

We dont work our asses off to make a site that is unusable, so it goes without saying that large problems like the one we went through would be corrected ASAP. Try to show some restraint or we'll be forced to take the site down while we correct issues. (At least you can still read a post or two every 5 minutes this way... heehee)

Anyhow, think positive not negative.
