LOL @ OP the only one who's heard of this film at this point.

Edit: Sounds decent, but wasn't a fan of Jacob's Ladder which it's compared to. Far too weird for my blood.

Comparing Frailty to Jacob's Ladder is like comparing your girlfriend to a lobster because they are both carbon-based lifeforms.

I can't say it's top 10 when you look at stuff from Tarantino, Scorsese, Coen Brothers, etc., but it's a excellent film and very underrated.

Don't be mad at me bc your poll isn't going as you planned.  Dumb ass logic like that is why no one wants to see your stupid movie.

One of the scariest movies I have seen. Was living on a ranch in SoCal when I saw it and had to check all the windows when I got home.

I'd like to see Paxton direct again.

That was a very good film, on many different levels.

top 10?

It was a good movie, but no where near the top 10 list. Not even top 100 list.

I didn't find it scary at all.

Edit: Poll is almost as gay as the OP.

Cool movie.

All time classic? No.

It's good.
But "top 10 ever"?
Probably not.

Just a well-made, suspenseful film with a nice twist at the end.
Same category as Sixth Sense, maybe.

It was stupid. Dad went nuts and started serial killing, both kids followed him into nuttiness and started serial killing, one kid kills the other because he's serial killing wrong people. FBI agent stabs his mom and gets away with it for years. The end.

I might put it in my top ten list of horror/thriller movies.

I was a little disappointed, actually. Heard so much about it, I guess the hype ruined it for me.

Someone mentioned "Jacob's Ladder." Very eerie, and visually creepy, movie, but not particularly original.

If you'd read "Incident at Owl Creek Bridge," you pretty much knew what was happening  the whole time.

Saw the film years ago and it is excellent, not one of the top ten though.

ETA

You need to rework your poll OP.

IMDB gives it 7.3 out of 10. Rotten Tomatoes gives it an Audience Rating of 79.

Hell I might have. I'm thinking of the one where Bill Paxton buys a van to kidnap people and makes his kid dig a giant hole under the shed to kill them in. When he touches them he thinks Jesus shows them touching kids or something. Then the Lincoln guy drives his new Navigator to Cy Tolliver's office and takes him to a garden and murderers him. If that's the one, it kinda sucked.

If he just "went nuts" then how did the video surveillance tapes all get corrupted, and how did the agents at the end not recognize Matthew McCognahay (sp?).
