LOL @ OP the only one who's heard of this film at this point.
Edit: Sounds decent, but wasn't a fan of Jacob's Ladder which it's compared to. Far too weird for my blood. |

I can't say it's top 10 when you look at stuff from Tarantino, Scorsese, Coen Brothers, etc., but it's a excellent film and very underrated.

One of the scariest movies I have seen. Was living on a ranch in SoCal when I saw it and had to check all the windows when I got home.

It was a good movie, but no where near the top 10 list. Not even top 100 list.

It's good.
But "top 10 ever"? Probably not. Just a well-made, suspenseful film with a nice twist at the end. Same category as Sixth Sense, maybe. |

It was stupid. Dad went nuts and started serial killing, both kids followed him into nuttiness and started serial killing, one kid kills the other because he's serial killing wrong people. FBI agent stabs his mom and gets away with it for years. The end.

I was a little disappointed, actually. Heard so much about it, I guess the hype ruined it for me.
Someone mentioned "Jacob's Ladder." Very eerie, and visually creepy, movie, but not particularly original. If you'd read "Incident at Owl Creek Bridge," you pretty much knew what was happening the whole time. |
