It's been a couple of months since the ATF said that shouldering a Sig brace turns the gun into a rifle, and possibly unregistered SBR if the barrel isn't long enough.

Are you still doing it?

When a Form 1 tax stamp is barely more than the cost of the stupid brace, why would I bother with the brace?

I've got 2 SBRs, but the Sig brace still fills a role.

An SBR'd 10/22 and an SBR'd AR-15 can both be turned into a lot of things.  An CZ Scorpion doesn't have enough options to entice me to SBR it, so a Sig brace is perfect there.

Have we done this poll before?  I know we've gone overboard a few times arguing about it, but I've never seen a poll for it.

Because EForm 1's are back up to a 2 month wait and you can get a Sig brace shipped to you overnight.

Because 5320.20

Because it is considered a pistol so it can legally be kept loaded and accessible to the driver of a vehicle in more places than a rifle can.

I don't think the ATF is nearly this creative.

If I bisect a .223 bullet, and load the pieces into a case, and fire it from an AR-15, have I redesigned it into a shotgun?

Maybe I want to take my gun one state over without permission.

SBR is for home state braced lower is for another.
