Williamson County Animal Shelter
Petandgo Terrance here is a Pit Mix. He's about 2 years old, and has been neutered. He is currently AT RISK, as he's been at the shelter for about 7 months. Let's find this guy a new home! If I didn't have a 10 month old baby, I would be on the road to get him right now. Williamson County is just north of Austin, TX.

I have 2 dogs now or I would take him. 1 was almost put to sleep at the local shelter saw him on Facebook and went
and go him. The other was a starving stray that showed up at my work and felt sorry for her. Both are great dogs. I will talk around and see if I can find a home for the one near Austin. |

my pound hound has been a great dog
when we asked how much to adopt her they told us she was on death row and if we wanted her she was free we have had her a year. she has her moments but she is getting there. |

Being in a shelter for 7 months has nothing to do with being aggressive. Having volunteered in shelters for more than 5 years now I can tell you aggressive dogs get put down almost immediately. His long tenure means he's been continually passed over for younger, or cuter, or [insert adjective here] dogs. He looks like a sweet boy, it would be terrible for him to be put down for no reason other than space. Oh, and for the thread shitters, GTFO, this is about saving this animal's life. |

While I only live about 4 miles from the shelter, I already have 4 dogs and a 1 cat. I'm afraid we are full.
I'm sure that's a sweet pup, but owning one would be akin to sticking your dick in a cheese grater and hoping no one cranks the handle. It's not the dogs fault, it's the breed. I hope someone who has a proper home can get that pup and give it a good life. |

Pitties are generally good dogs. I wish I could take Terrance in, but I am full of fur. Red Nosed Pitbulls are the healthiest Pit Bulls in my experience.
