Isn't that the guy who admitted he stayed at hotels during his "Survival" shows?

I wouldn't doubt it. I remember watching one of his arctic survival episodes where he was saying how great those magnesium fire starter blocks with the flint insert are. BULLSHIT! THOSE THINGS ARE GARBAGE!! I tried using them myself and I found out:

A) if it's cold out your fingers are going to freeze and become numb before you're able to accumulate enough shavings
B) Using a knife blade to scrape a metal block will royally screw up the knife, and
C) if the wind is even remotely blowing it will blow the shavings away before they even reach the ground.

I wondered what the heck I was doing wrong that I came to a different result, but now I know: I listened to a television survivalist expert.

This just happened to me. Superblue spyderco stretch. Sad part is I was so busy admiring the laminated steel I didn't notice till day 3. DAY 3!!!!

So that's pretty much me now.

When we were setting up the second location for our store a few months ago, we needed a screwdriver for a shelf unit. While my coworker went to go get one, I got 3 screws done before he got back.

He had never thought of a knife as a screwdriver before.

Lol about the Spyderco fakes. I actually called Spyderco to see if Knifeworks was an authorized dealer before buying my Tatanka.

I had a piece of shit co-worker who asked to borrow my knife years ago. I hand it to him, he then used it to pretty a hubcap off a steel wheel. Tip is chipped of and he insists he didn't do it.

Fucker had zero integrity, is on his 4th police department and miraculously a shining star.

Somehow i missed this the first time around, though i've seen the entire thing in all it's glory on Blade Forums.

The knife centering one describes me to a "T" and is exactly why i buy almost everything locally instead of off the internet. The dealer knows i'm anal about it, but he's happy to oblige me looking through several boxes to find the "right" one because i buy so much from him.

Their centering is hit or miss. I bought a LE mini grip that was off, my 940-1 was also off. It's generally not too hard to fix but I don't think I should have to for the cost of a knife like the 940-1. They're not the only one - my Southard Avo is off slightly and it doesn't want to correct, oh well. In contrast, however, I've never had a Spyderco that was off center.
