I have one.
I think most people tend to go with the no power version because of the price difference. I paid over $300.00 Have only used it a few times but I don't see why one wouldn't be able to acquire a target just as fast as the no power versions. I want that little Aimpoint Comp M thing. |

I tried to get some information and opinions about this same thing a little while back. I couldn't get a single response. I too thought it sounded great, and the dot size was smaller, which I thought would be better also. Hope your post gets better response than mine, I'm still interested in it.

I am interested in knowing the same thing...2x magnification seems perfect for a wide range of shooting.
