PSA : Don't miss/skip your dogs monthly heartworm dose



I missed december and my dog just tested positive for heartworm






We had a mild december and the mosquitos must have still been out






She wasn't due for a semiannual heartworm test till October,  but i was there for other stuff and had her tested early






Thank god i didn't wait till October. ...



 


The vet said since i have been giving het monthly doses it helps contain the heart worm and there's a chance i may be able to treat her with some drug that kill the heartworm in just one month, but no guarantee
