Battery Junction has Surefire G2 LED's in stock. Customer service told me the blowout price is because they're discontinued now. The KX-4 head alone is worth more here.

Great light to keep in the truck or kick around.

Anything comparable that takes AA batts? I know they don't have the same power, but son is heading on a long trip to places where the 123 batts will be scarce.

Looking for something similarly sized.

Like I said, the head alone is worth more than the light. Price at other retailers is $70-$90 for the LED version. SF Nitrolon's with 65lumens (incandescent) are priced higher.

Quick question guys. I need a new head for my old beat up e2d defender. It's literally been used as a hammer, pry bar, light, door stop and the list goes on.... so it shows. And the light just isn't that bright being incandescent. Buy one of these style lights and salvage the head or SF replacement or Malkoff or...?
