First off, I've been in contact with Striker and have his approval to post this.

OK! So, my close friend Doug, his son, Doug Jr. died Sunday. He has been disabled since birth but healthy. Saturday before last he went into cardiac arrest but CPR was initiated fast enough that they get him back and he was in the local PICU all week. They thought it was respiratory related (mucous plug) at first and that he would make a full or near full recovery.........but further testing determined it was a cardiac issue. Late last week things turned for the worst and Sunday afternoon Little Doug passed away.

Big Doug is quite a private guy so I don't wanna post his user name publicly but he's been a member here for a while. Anyway, a friend's wife set up a Go Fund Me account for them to help with funeral and medical costs. We have been sharing it on FB but I thought this would be a good avenue as well, plus ya'll are his friends too!
