"Fair" is a place cows go to earn ribbons.
Life's not fair. You should hire the most qualified candidates for the job. Edit-I'm assuming "fair chance" is liberal speak for "The world may need ditch diggers, but standards should be lowered so that people who aren't cut out for (insert job here) should be allowed to do it because it's "fair." |

I was born too early. I never excelled in math or science. With fairness parameters about to be mandated I could maybe be a doctor or physicist now. I think it's going to be part of the,"share the wealth," program.

Seriously, my company is cutting about 40 jobs by April and said to not worry cos with the high turnover rate they don't expect to actually fire anyone who WANTS to work. it's time they stopped trying to "level" the playing field by cutting everyone else down. |
