Random question.
I just got an old Ideal Stencil machine.

What kind of oil should I use for it?
Would a CLP like breakfree or ballistol work or do I need something specific?

Thanks!

Thanks!
Sewing machine oil would be enough for a larger machine like a stencil machine?

And by 3-in-1 do you mean a CLP?

3 in 1 oil was around for decades before CLP.

a light distilled oil like sewing machine oil, same kind of metal can.

1894, yea it's been around longer than CLP.

I usually use ballistol for my guns, which started in 1904...so they're close ;)
