Yeah I didn't frame houses for three years or nothing....

All I need is a framing hammer and a Skil saw and I make anything

She wanted a bunch of stuff painted the other day in the house.  She left for the weekend, painted 2/3 of the house before she came back, then she told me i did it wrong!  It helps when im spraying it though

Because you can just build a box with nothing but plywood and nail legs to it and it's solid!

Just nail the corners of the plywood together and you're good.

Mine doesn't have to tell me to build something in order to say I'm doing it wrong.

I do construction for a living.  I do primarily concrete/site work, but do a house or two a year.  I gutted a bathroom the other day, she asked if I knew how to put it together and if we should call a professional.  I wrote down my number on a piece of paper and told her to call this guy

it's kinda like the old joke:

"if I say something, and my wife's not around to hear it, am I still wrong?"

My wife only sees the finished product in her head...just like they showed it on TV.

She doesn't see the studs, electric, water pipes, vents, insulation, cubic money, and 20yr contractors/carpenters that it takes to make it so.
"NONSTANDARD!!!, she cried, and let slip the dogs of war (on the hubby.)

I thought it was:

"A woman is walking in the woods, and a tree falls over, what sound does it make?

Answer: What is she doing out of the kitchen?!
