interchange it with cold beer from your cooler.

1 sip of coffee,  1 sip of beer.

Same "problem" with the Zojirushi.

I just leave the lid off for a bit after I brew it but before I leave.  Helps it cool down earlier.

They're great little bastards when it's cold out though.  Filled a Zojirushi with coffee, headed to RMNP (1.5 hours away or so), snowshoed for 3-4 hours with the cup in the outside pocket of my pack and it was still hot when we got back to the car.

Same here. Mine keeps ice for days. I don't use it for hot stuff.

Buy the Zojirushi Slicksteel instead.  The lid design is superior.

I fill that damn thing a couple times a day at least, so I agree it's small, but the lid design is so much better for everything that it's worth it.

I filled my thirty up with ice and set it on the table and forgot about it, and a day and a half later it still had a bit of ice floating.

They need to hurry up and come out with a 44-50oz mug. 30oz isn't enough 'beetus juice.
