Somebody trell me why this thing is not a piece of shit.

I just got one and it is not spring loaded and there is no way I can find to easily pop it up, especially with gloves on.

I thought this was their top of the line BUIS.

WTH?

What am I missing?

Meh, my rear BUIS aren't spring loaded and I have no problem with them.

Granted they aren't magpul.

My rear isn't either, but it over hangs the back of the site and is easy to pop up.

This thing has nothing to grab onto

I have now found very small serrations on the side that are supposed to add friction to flip it up.

I have to say, with wet hands, especially with gloves on I don't see how this will work well at all.

I do not like them at all.

KAC micros all the way.

Really though put the front site all the way to the front and flip it around backwards so a tiny bit is hanging off the edge of the rail. That makes it much easier to flip up.

Maybe flip it up before putting on your gloves? Or get different gloves. Or Jb weld some little tabs on there

Don't know, I don't use them. I have KACs and they seem pretty sturdy.

i own a pair of MBUS pros and took them off. exactly for what you said. Theyre TOO low profile. Its annoying to get a hold of them. I took them off and put troys on.

That is what I use.  They are the 300m version, with absolutely no frills and only windage adjustable, but they seem to be very sturdy and I like them a lot.

Too low profile.  I think I have reached the last page of the internet.

I have them on one AR and manage to flip them up pretty easily when needed, which is almost never.  My biggest complaint is that they are an absolute bitch to adjust.

Put a thin handle under it and pretend you're doing the HK slap and pop it up.
