That whole thing was absurd.
In a real world assessment, I think I would have to give a nod to the Israeli's solely because they are cold, calculating killers who aren't as encumbered by ROE made up by politicians. That's my take. |

Isn't there a real life "Counterterrorism Olympics" where the world's top CT units send teams to compete against each other? I think it takes place in Jordan.

Like I said...I don't think they could really make an accurate assessment of which is better. There are just too many variables.
However I do think it would be fun to invite a Seal over for Thanksgiving to carve the Turkey.

The SEAL's are of course a top notch group, but are limited by their ROE. But then again their ROE might not be nearly as restrictive as the rest for the missions they are sent on. But it'd be interesting as to how the SEAL's would operate if they had Israeli commanders, or were in Israel to assist run ops for them? |

I think they're all pretty even. I imagine physical training, tactics and individual prowess is nearly the same across the board, pretty much like the NFL having a Super bowl because there is only one way to find out who is the best each year.
