i noticed Bradley Cooper (and some others) wearing an item on his left front shoulder, attached to his vest, it was small, 3"x4" maybe, it looked like a compass, my friend thought it was a windage meter... but in search for both of those items I've found nothing like it... and I've seen this item in other photos... basically a clear face on a black meter/compass of some kind....
anyone know what that thing is? see it below... i wouldn't think windage because he can't see it easily.... anyone know of a site where i can look things like this up? it seems that any time i want to look up gear used by SpecOps, all i can read about are guns and shoes.

VIP light. I have the tan version with the IR light, IR strobe and green (I think) visable light.
They're good for a strobe and its been beat to shit out in the mountains but I was hoping to have it as a dual use that when i wasn't needing the strobe I could put it on my backpack strap or PC and use it as a flashlight; next to impossible to use that way and impractical. ETA - In case you're wondering, he's wearing it up high on his shoulder so that should he need to set off his IR strobe it will get the most 'coverage' as far as being able to see it from the front/back and side. |
