So apparently the Lamborghini was traveling about 205 mph prior to the crash.  The cell phone video inside cuts off at the moment of impact.  To be clear, I don't know how fast they were going when it crashed.

http://jalopnik.com/video-shows-lamborghini-huracan-doing-208-mph-on-highwa-1680367973

Here is what was left of it.

Driver and passenger both walked away from it.

The article says the passenger was pulled from the wreck and sustained serious injuries.
That does not sound like he walked away from the crash.

At 200+MPH that could have been a beetle      Dumb ass driver was lucky that all he lost was the car.

No idea what happened, but you can see it getting bumpy right before the "Woaaaa".  I'm guessing he simply got off the pavement.  At those speeds aero is super critical and that car may have been very light on its wheels...

205 mph, 600 HP, 3135 lbs can't = a lot of downforce.  To compare, a 2010 Viper ACR which has massive downforce, about the same weight (bit more) and HP tops out at 184, vs a Viper Coupe at about 205 without a lot less downforce

That top speed number is a great selling point, but without the downforce it is just a number.  That guy needs to trade speed for grip!

I'd imagine at 200mph it doesn't take much.

Something that might be hardly noticeable at 65 turns into a ramp at 200.

As been stated it got "bumpy", I'm sure it was a "normal" hump or transition in the road but at 300+ kph it got the car loose and wham.

Off center bump... lifted one corner and got air under it.  Enough to lift and start the rotation.

Beautiful car... shame it was driven by a dumbass.

Word.

When I had my RX-7, I remember bottoming out at speed on I-5 going down to Sevenstock.

Road looked perfectly flat and straight...all of a sudden it just dipped.

My right foot got a little less heavy after that.

Also, keep in mind that F1 cars have huge downforce, but once they air get under them, they go flying.

I heard that F1 cars produce more down force than they weigh.  If it was possible to make an upside down track, they could drive on the damn thing.

Yep...one time on a deserted road in Mexico, I had a 550 HP 350Z doing roughly 150 or so...with nothing but a front splitter.  To say the rear felt light, was an understatement.  It had plenty left in it, but I ran out of balls in that car.  A good friend still has his fully built '04 Cobra with twin turbos.  Scariest street car I've ridden in and he's only...only...putting down 1300 lbs/ft of TQ to the wheels and we may or may not have hit around 165-170.  When you slow back down to sane speeds due to the small Mexican town quickly approaching, it feels like you're not even moving.

Well, passenger was life flighted, but the driver dragged the passenger out of the car before it was totally engulfed in flames. The after pics therefor are not totally telling.

Gotta love the part of the clip where he is pulling probably 150+ while passing cars that look like they are doing 55-65.

That is the first indication that the idiot is completely throwing caution to the wind.   Then he comes up on a car, prius perhaps, in the left lane and appears to be bearing down on it with the intention to pass on the right before the video cuts out.

No caution for the turns and generally zero fucks given.   Difference between 60 and 80, meh.   Difference between 80 and 100, starting to pay serious attention.   Difference between 100 and 120, gotta ask yourself why are you doing this.    Hitting anything above 120 and you better be damn certain of everything.   The retarded speeds are not meant to be sustained in the real world.   Just taunting Murphy to pay attention to you as blatantly open the door to the odds of random chance and Darwinism.

Can't say I wouldn't have rung out a Huracan if I lived in Czech and had a open road.  He was on it for way too long on roads you don't know are free from tire exploding debris, and judging by some how smooth the road surface is he lost control when he caught air off one of those dips.
