So we are planning on going to Disneyland (So. California) next month.

Anyone know the best place to get package deal or advice from someone who has been there recently?

Thanks!

Costco gives you a Premium Dining Package for each member in your party plus a couple other perks.  We book all our trips through them.

Oh, come on... I dont see anything wrong with that.

They have those perks for a reason. I used to know folks that worked there and they did in fact get free tickets all the time.

Wife is saying that she wants to stay at one of the hotels at the park.

They are spendy!

She is looking at Costco also. Seems like a good deal as I belieeve it goes towards our annual rebate on executive membership.

Paradise Pier is the cheapest and furthest away.  Disneyland Hotel has the biggest rooms with the most Disney theming and the Grand Californian is the closest with the best restaurants.

Check AAA if you are a member.  They do packages as well.

Disney is cracking down on this. Make sure the tickets are genuinely used as intended as they do have some sort of way to figure out if the employee is selling them. I have also heard that the "E tickets" they're issued can be printed out more than once, and that only the first one to go through the turnstile is honored. If you don't know the employee personally, it's risky.
