The ska tribute album is pretty awesome.

The originals...  meh.

Bruce Campbell's Old Spice commercial should have been extended to make a full song, because that was awesome.

Listen to "The Reflex" really loud, on a nice system with large high quality floor speakers.  Dear God, there has never been anything since so cool. Same with "Rio".  And the list goes on and on.

I loved most if not all Duran Duran way back in the day.  And they were actually some kick ass musicians.  In his prime, John Taylor was a bass player that few could ever keep up with.

Yes, I love me some Duran Duran.  And as always, haters going to hate.

(p.s. - there is plenty of bluegrass I love just as much - I just adore good music, plain and simple)

You mean Arcadia?  (Damn, beat by 45 secs).

Saw Duran Duran in concert the year they hit it big.  They kicked ass for those few years.

No doubt - I suspect we can mostly thank Nick Rhodes for the outstandingly high and clean audio quality.

Ive got a few of their tunes on my iPod .
Like mentioned above , you really cant fully appreciate them until you've been on a decent rave club's dance floor and surrounded by sweaty chicks grinding to extended dance remixes of D-D . . . then it seems to all 'click'

Many would argue the best pop duo (or maybe even just the best pop act, period) of ALL time.  Yes, I would be challenged to list all of the awesomely beautiful sounding hits they made.

Do you watch "Live from Daryl's House"? Even today, at 68, Daryl is just awesomeness, making kick ass beautiful music, still from the soul, with tons of old and new artists.

Yep, GOOD music is magic, a gift, and transcends pretty much anything the artist may or may not do when they are not weaving that magic.
