Just got an order in from Larue, opened the box, and found this strange thing called a 'Battlefield Mixer' that apparently is used to mix paint.
A paint mixer? I'm just trying to get my head around someone at Larue saying, hey, I've got an idea, let's put a paint mixer in all of our orders! It's a cool paint mixer I guess, but a paint mixer??? I googled 'Battlefield Mixer' and sure enough, up comes a link to Larue's site. http://www.laruetactical.com/lt-battle-mixer |

Inb4 you see them at walmart. |

I guess when you have access to a full shop of plastic tooling and molding equipment you never have to get pissed off when painting something at home ever again.
The last few items I got from LaRue had them in the packages.
And only one dillo |
It's a bit odd. I wonder if they made those in order to practice with plastics before they did their recent plastic made products.

Didn't LaRue make a paint mixer for a drill a few years ago? Like in the 5 gallon size?

Now I can never get enough.... and I see how everyone burned through it so fast. |

I always pitch the paint mixers. I guess I am just old school when it comes to that and don't paint all that often anyway.

Weird thing for LaRue to be selling, but looks pretty clever. I'd like to have one.
I ordered one tshirt. On sale for like $10 or something. The shipping cost almost as much as the shirt.
They sent a christmas dillo, the paint mixer, and 2 stickers. |

I've been getting them with Larue orders for the better part of a decade.
I still don't know why they make them or sell them, but they work awesome for paint! |
I have a couple.
Tried attaching them to my AR. Mixes paint as I shoot!!! |

In before the fan bois say their rooms don't look that good in their house because their paint pourer isn't milspec
What next a larue spoon rest? |

I've never ordered from Larue, do they send out random stuff as freebies? A tactical paint mixer that can only be used with black, OD green, fde and camo coloring is pretty legit!
I haven't used them yet, but got a couple. I hate painting, so maybe larue can invent a painter and pack it in the swag.
We shall call him Manuel painter. |

I bet Mark was mixing some paint one day and thought to himself that he could design a tool that would do it easier. My last two orders had one in the box. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It looks like a handy tool, I won't debate that. But it's absolutely fucking retarded to call it a "battlefield" mixer. If this wasn't Larue, this would be a thread filled with the same people ripping on the company who made a "battlefield" paint mixer for all the couch commandos. |

They've sold them for years, I'm guessing they don't sell many, and they're looking to get rid of stock. My order in December had one too.
Looks like it would work better than anything you could by at home depot.
I had two on back order last year. I finally canceled the order once I had already painted my new house.
My Christmas order had one in the box. I thought it was a nice touch
I've used them a bunch, they work very well.
When you possess a creative mind, solutions seem to just appear from necessity. I would bet that Mark was doing some painting some weekend and suddenly realized how badly conventional paint lids suck, and that he could do it better. At least that's how it works for me... |

It is a safety tool. IE
You just spend 2 grand on a rifle, the missus still hasnt had XYZ room painted, Larue is actually hinting that you need to be painting and not shooting, or the wifey will be painting ... blood red... |
