How is it used?

It sits permanently on it's charging base, indoors, until ready to deploy. Simply take it outside, put it on the ground, and press the GO button. The Rapere will take off, while at the same time scanning the sky for drones. It can tell the difference between a bird and a drone, and will fly over top of any drone within range, then disable it.

After the target drone is disabled, it will return to base and land, where you can add a new tangle-line for a second flight.

12 gauge with birdshot would work much better in the situation described in the OP.

Meh. Get back to me when the drone killer is rocket propelled, seeks drone signals, and is suicidal. I want it to launch from something that looks like a LAW.

Lol, neighbor spying on my wife in the shower and all I'm gonna do is take out his drone?

Neighbor would be force-fed one drone.

Next project.

Much easier to jam the signal..
Build a spark-gap transmitter, wait until the drone is over your property, start transmitting and watch it fall from the sky..
Doesn't have to tuned to the exact frequency, just get on the same band.

Yeah?

Well, they failed to take into account my Drone Hunting Hunter Drone.

It's more or less the "I know they know that I know that they know" of drones.

So there...

ETA : I'm working on bringing to market the PsyOps version as well.  It doesn't interfere with the flight of your drone, it just hovers in front of the camera with an 8x10 glossy of Gilbert Godfried buttfucking the dad from Family Ties.

I'm going to start selling a drone add-on board with 6 .22 shotshells pointed up at slightly different angles. It'd be an anti-anti-drone countermeasure system.

Just don't buy the screwdriver there though unless you want one that strips out after one or two screws.

Whats old is new again.  The first air to air kill in aerial combat occurred in 1914 when a Russian pilot threw a anchor and chain at a German aircraft.  They both crashed and burned.

Yeah, you'd have to believe that automatically identifying and destroying an aerial target is now easy-peasy with their proprietary algorithms. Next up, the RonCo Blast-o-Matic Home Sentry Gun.
