Most of them are filled with pudding and nothing pisses me off more than grabbing what I think is a proper bismark only to bite into that slimy crap.
I've learned to heft them in my paw before selecting a bismark.
One I was hooked on for a while was a plain glazed, nuked for about 20 seconds. Have to eat it with a fork but damn that's some tasty treats right there. Apple fritters (made properly with actual apples in them) are probably my favorite, though. Not technically a donut, though. |

ETA: What the hell is a bismark? Bismark= round, chocolate iced donut with the sweet, white, whipped icing in the middle. It's not technically whipped cream. Same as what's in a cream horn which, if you've never had a cream horn you've truly missed out on a culinary experience. |

My local Krogers has been setting out great apple crumb donuts lately. Chocolate turtle ones, too. Both are great. Gotta love a Boston Kreme, though, and custard, not whipped cream.
