Posted this in the American Sniper thread, but, I thought it deserved it's own.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2013/02/08/cooper-sniper-movie-gun-control/ If true, I don't think I'll be going to see it. |

Do they actually have a quote from him? The article is a little vague.
You think that makes a difference? That movie has made a shit ton of money already.

That was written back in 2013 shortly after Kyles death. Do you think he might have learned anything by playing Chris and working with Eastwood ?

Yeah I didn't know if they were attributing this quote to him or not, it was unclear in the short article. |

Clint Eastwood would beat the man back into cooper ! If it where true!
I heard him on Howard Stern saying that he campaigned for Obama.
Even if he does feel that way he hasn't been out pushing it with this movie. The interviews I've seen him do he talks about his respect for Kyle and the SEALs. I saw one where a journo asked him about shooting and he started rattling off his groupings and different calibers.
Let the backlash commence!
I was ahead of the curve on this one, I wasn't planning on seeing the movie anyways! |

I saw him in an interview after he did the A-Team and he was going on and on about how much he had fell in love with guns.
He said he had become infatuated with them and learning about them. I'm going to try to find the interview. ETA: found it. http://extratv.com/2009/11/12/bradley-cooper-has-fallen-in-love-with-guns/ |

Cooper or Neeson, etc. They are actors, not some intellectual giants. I don't watch movies that they are in to hear their opinions. I watch the movies to see the movie. If these guys were intellectual giants, they would be in another field.

Because I was going to, than I saw this thread and wasn't, and now Im not sure. |

I'm going to see it and buy it on disc to support the Kyle family.

Seems kinda generic.
But as always I see Hollywood as a bunch of clapping monkeys who dance for my amusement. Their opinions are not only of no interest to me, their personal lives and their culture is irrelevant to the majority of America. There are pro gun celebs, and anti gun celebs. |
If you stop watching movies because one liberal FBHO lover is making money off it, you will never see another movie again. Unfortunately that's the way it is now.
And FBHO if I forgot to mention that. |

He's an actor.
In the past they were only held in about as high of regard as prostitutes. What's important is the message of the FILM, which will resonate far more with people than some quote from the actor in some obscure interview. |
Dude, just assume anyone you watch on tv is not your ideological buddy. It's just the culture of that place, and most of them have to tow the line to get ahead. Just relax and enjoy the story.

Guys, just stop watching all TV and shows because someone on that show is anti-gun.
Don't let them control you. Unless it's some hypocrite like Neeson. |
I couldn't care less whether or not he is.
I'm anti-Bradley Cooper so that settles it for me. |
