It's not even about store bought stuff. The
first day of the Arts Festival is for the kids, with about 300 8- to 18-year-olds making arts and crafts which they sell to other kids to at the Children and Youth Day sidewalk sale. Kids made and sold rubber band guns, foam swords and whatever else they could come up with. If you made a popular item, you sold a a ton of them and made money. If you had/made a crappy item you didn't sell many of them and were stuck. Of course the popular items were swords and guns. Now it will be a row/street of kids selling hair ties and bracelet  It's embarrassing to be from Happy Valley sometimes. |

I own a few of these they would probably run screaming into the night if I showed up with those.

I grew up in a lefty anti gun household. I wasn't allowed to have toy guns. Look how well that worked.

The people that come up with these ideas thinking they will reduce violence are beyond stupid. It really blows my mind. Probably the same people that think people like Chris Kyle were war mongers yet embellish their freedoms. I guess they want their kids to grow up supporting #BlackLivesMatter instead of their boys becoming men.
