Hero of the FSA strikes again...
If this makes it through congress, which I doubt....it will just be one more step on the road we are on now. Who the h3ll wants to bust your tail with years of hard work and risk taking, when the FSA will just be there waiting with their hand out. link He would increase the top tax rate on capital gains and dividends to 28 percent from 23.8 percent. The rate was 15 percent when Obama took office in 2009, meaning that he’s proposing to almost double it over his two terms in office. View Quote He would also impose capital-gains taxes on asset transfers at death, ending what the White House calls “the largest capital gains loophole.” Under current law, assets held until death aren’t subject to those levies, creating an incentive for wealthy people to hold onto them. Heirs only have to pay capital-gains taxes when they sell and only on the value above what the assets were worth at death. View Quote The administration’s proposal on capital gains at death would exempt the first $200,000 in capital gains per couple plus $500,000 for a home, along with all personal property except for valuable art and collectibles. The rest would be treated for income-tax purposes as if it had been sold. View Quote The plan announced Saturday also continues two past Obama ideas on retirement policy. He wants to require companies to automatically enroll workers in individual retirement accounts. And he wants to limit contributions to tax-advantaged retirement accounts for people who have about $3.4 million in them. View Quote |

Yesterday, I reached in to my pocket to get something and found that the government already had their hand in it. Now, he wants to put both hands in it. |

Obama proposed those taxes yesterday, and again today?

He will not be satisfied until he destroys this country. That is the last thing we need right now. This Congress needs to stop this psychopath while we still have a country.

Other example of an Obama raping without a reach around.
He makes me miss Carter. |

Obama Proposes New Tax Hikes on Wealthy to Aid Middle Class the Federal Government. FIFY |

GOP should respond with a flat tax. Would never happen but would blow the commie in chief the fuck out of orbit.

Class and race warfare is what this cancer is about. He embodies the same philosophy as the "Burn this bitch down" element of the various criminal groups he protects from lawful prosecution...in my opinion.

More trickle up economics?

And he is making people inheriting assets pay tax on the appreciation as of the date of death. He is a fucking communist asshole hellbent on destroying capitalism and a free, individual way of life. There is simply no denying it any longer with those proposals. |

You are going to be seeing a lot of things like this leading right up to the 2016 elections.
The Dem template is obvious. |

It's never surprising when Obama wants to tax the producers to even thing up a bit between the producers in our society and the FSA. It fits in nicely with his vision of a larger, more powerful federal government and a country more like the countries overseas where taxes take up to 75% of the earner's income to distribute as the government chooses. He's doing all he can to further his vision for America because in his world he knows what's best for the country and doesn't care what the people want.

It is worrisome. However in my opinion the dems leadership out there that are thinking of running in 2016 is not very good. That being said the Gop's are pretty stale as well. So whoever runs the smarter campaign will come to D.C. |

Ya' got'ta figure that anytime that worthless fucker's lips are flapping, he's trying to screw-over Americans. Nothing that has come out of the current Administration has been anything but attempts to destroy this once great Country.

So how does stealing more money help the middle class? I didn't see anything in his proposals like
"Stop stealing everyone's money and giving free shit away to those who don't work", "Stop printing fiat currency that will eventually end up costing the middle class by causing massive inflation" or "Stop regulating the shit out of small businesses at the behest of their campaign contributors, so they actually might have a chance to succeed" Now that would truly help the middle class His proposal to mandate business to set up retirement accounts is ultimately so the government can steal it and replace it with worthless IOU's |
|
Any tax increase is a non-starter in my book as every increase chips away at the producers. Time for total tax reform as in a flat or fair tax. Anything else is unacceptable.
Same goes for corporate welfare too. I despise that practice just as much as funneling our wealth to the FSA. |
|
This proposal is going nowhere, even with unconstitutional executive orders O cant change the tax code. Its times like this when I realize how fucked we would be if we the dems had a lock on the news media (as they did from 1930-1990) or if they had both houses of congress.
|
|
Oh look, more trollbait to get 2016 sound bites out of the GoP.
"rich people rock" "don't tax me bro" "fuck the poor" "Jesus hates poor people and taxes" There is no fucking way this will make it through congress. Dems are just setting shit out in public for the GoP to trip over. Maybe they should figure out how to actually navigate this shit without giving the Dems ammo and while explaining why the fuck taxing capital gains at 30% is a bad idea. |
|
Just a little more tax revenue will save us all! Charity at gunpoint is robbery.

Weren't these rich guys suppose to pay for health insurance too? How did that work out?

He will propose it to a republican congress, they'll initially say fuck off. Zero will will say " why do you hate the middle class bro?", and the Rs' will cave in and make him a deal just like the amnesty thing.

When the D's say they want to help the Middle Class, it's code for "we found another source of revenue to buy votes from the non-producers".
IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY!!! Thieving cocksuckers! TC |

Where did this idiot ever get the idea that only rich people invest money? I'm about as middle class as you can get, and I have investments I pay capital gains taxes on. It looks to me like it hurts everyone.
