Talk about an absolute cluster fuck. Disabled vet, he has a service dog to help with PTSD issues and keep him chilled out. They wouldn't let it ride with him, which he understood. But now they've lost the damn dog. Nobody knows where the dog is. How the hell do you lose a dog?

Not like some random valley girl flying with her poodle. |

OMG, that is horrible..
I can't even imagine what that Vet is going through without his dog, not knowing if his dog is even still alive, this is just all kinds of fucked up And to think about the absolute lack of compassion he is getting from the airline, they probably told him.. "oh, just get another dog".. Heart-breaking.. |

They accidentally killed the dog.
Its easier to just say they lost it. |

I remember reading somewhere about the conditions animals are subjected to in the cargo bay of an airplane. They are basically luggage at that point. Who knows where the dog is or what condition it is in. Sad, really. I would never fly with my dog and allow him to be handled like that for fear that he would be in a bad way.

I swear to God , 90 % of this country is fucking incompetent anymore !

How's your friend handling it? I would imagine that if he needs the companionship of the dog he's either curled up in the fetal position or in jail.

Hopefully the dog is found and OK, please keep us updated Dan.

Stop pretending to be a hardass, sit down, and have a good cry. Because that's all your bullshit is, a simple and pointless whine. Goddamn, it's enough that I have to put up with isis and people talking in the movie theaters. But this bullshit too? |

Said there was a switch in the cockpit they called the "cat killer switch" as it would turn off the heat in the cargo area. FWIW, my families two Burmese cats travelled with us to Saudi Arabia back in the mid-80's, there and back again. They were none the worse for wear. |

I heard somewhere (but can't verify) that pets might be given a treat that puts them to sleep during the flight so they don't make noise, sometimes they don't wake up..

I would never let my dog ride in the luggage bay. I would cancel the trip and go home.
Hope the dog turns up in good shape. |

You're such a bad ass, you could solve this whole isis issue solo. ... or isis would adjust your attitude, whatever is more likely. |
