It's not bad, but it is not the Walking Dead. It wasn't intended to be, it's a different kind of show. It takes kind of a tongue in cheek approach to the zombie genre, if you think of it as a kind of campy light comedy that doesn't take itself to seriously it's pretty entertaining, if you go in expecting the Walking Dead you will be disappointed.

If you liked any of the Evil Dead movies, campy one liners, gore, apocalyptic scenarios, and sub par acting you'll enjoy it. If you expect a serious complex drama like TWD then no. You won't like it.

OP, I watched the first episode. I would probably continue watching it. It's a ScyFy original - if that tells you anything.

The Walking Dead is a boring soap opera with zombies. Z-Nation is actually entertaining like Army of Darkness.

I watched the first 2 episodes last night, horrible acting. The nail in the coffin was a kid canoeing zombie heads from a hundred yards away with a sling shot and gears/sprockets as projectiles

I just got into watching TWD on Netflix and saw this show advertised on the home page. Will have to give it a look once I'm done with Season 4 of TWD.

Watching episode 7 right now. Good stuff. More camp and less stupid Walking Dead drama. It's not Sharknado level of camp, but it's certainly less angsty than Walking Dead.

Overall most episodes are pretty good, but a few suck. Each episode has a different director like many new shows. I have a feeling season 2 is going to suck though.

Yeah very clearly airsoft guns. Acting is not great, and there are numerous plot holes. All in all I like it better than TWD.

I would pay top dollar to have Anastasia Baranova sit on my face. The proportions on her are just right, little bit of meat on her but not to much.

Honestly the first episode is the absolute worst. Terrible in fact. You have to get through a few episodes and it does get a lot better.
