Only had it 2 days and it's the best EDC flashlight ever?

PASS!

That it uses a charging dock kinda sucks, really.

USB should just plug straight into the flashlight.  Like the Fenix version.

Is it expensive? If a light isn't obscenely expensive, it can't possibly be good.

Yep E1B for the win!

Micro USB charger?  Does that take 12 days for a full charge from empty?
Link Posted: 1/17/2015 7:54:17 PM EDT

Seems like it'd be easy as hell to inadvertently knock it off the charger.

I need a tailcap switch. Hate having to orient my light when it comes out of my pocket.

Might as well carry a handheld light that you can slide on your CCW or a long gun if you had too...

I have the X300U w/DG on my HD gun but it doesn't exactly disappear into a pocket or operate easily in the hand.  For EDC that I can use to light up a theater (worst case scenario) and find my keys that I dropped in the dark I'll go with a simple two stage 15/200 lumen soft push/hard push E1B.

It drops from 1000 lumens to 600. It's thermal protection. Most quality lights have this. It's not like it turns off.

My UC35 does this. Huge output on high and turbo.

I've only seen the Fenix version before.
