The officer was interviewed on FoxNews. It was "staged," in that he knew he was being filmed. He said he had a 10-year-old daughter (I think that's the age) and this isn't the only song he knows.
I was only half-listening to the interview, but it sounds to me that he maybe does this lip-syncing thing anyway, so the police department decided to film him doing it, for PR reasons. He explained that the police have been getting such bad press lately. I think it's hilarious and there's no way he'd be this good at lip syncing to that song if he wasn't already doing it a lot anyway. |

I may or may not have been caught by the locals signing when running plates at stop signs.

He will NEVER live that down. View Quote He doesn't have to. I'd own that shit. Hell yes I rock out to a catchy song behind the wheel because life's to short to live it with a stick up your ass. ...unless you happen to like a stick up your ass, in which case get down with your freaky self. Just don't call me if it gets stuck up there because GROSS. I sing along with the stereo too, it's just usually something like Sinatra or Robert Cray or something. |

definitely staged for PR reasons. View Quote I don't think so. When he gets to a stop sign he quits singing because other people can see him. As soon as he leaves he starts right back up again. He does it several times through out the video when people are around that can see him. |
