Poor kid doesn't stand a chance.  We are going to need to extract him. If we start a Save Your Son fund I am in for $500.00. That would get him a trip to Hooters and some full auto gun rentals. |

He's old enough to fend for himself.
The most I would do is give him this advice; "Son, this is a good time for you to learn to recognize the path of least resistance." In his case, that probably means leaving the house to do something. He might as well get some practice in now for a life long skill. Fly fishing come to mind. Cold? Ice on the creeks? Windy? None of that has anything to do with "going fishing". |

If he can't fend for himself or atleast know when to GTFO then thats on you failing as a teacher.
