Glock 19 generation 2, used, 1 mag
OR Glock 19 generation 4, new blue label, 3 mags if the cost is about the same, which is the smart choice?

Gen 3 NiB finish. My favorite.
But of your two I'd go gen 4. I have a gen 2 23 and like it fine but I like the rail option |
|
I would like to add a Gen 2 in my collection and feel no desire for Gen 4... yet.

if you get blue label pricing, you would be a fool to buy anything else, but most of us don't get blue label pricing

My preference is Gen 3
Between those choices, I'd go gen 4. But between gen 3 and 4, I'll go 3. |
|
Personally, I'd get the Gen 2. I was one of the ones who got a garbage-ass, brass-to-the-face, FTEing newer Glock, though.

I'd really like an OD gen 4, but haven't seen them for sale in a while.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile View Quote I have a gen 2, but honestly how old would the gun be? Mine was made in 1991 I think, and had a low round count until I got it 2008. Some of those gen 2's could really be worn out. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Gen 4, and then remove the finger grooves if you don't like them.

G4 rocks!!
Would have to be a killer deal to flip the other way. |

Gen 2
The rail on the Glock 19 way overblown as any advantage. Is does not have the depth that the 17 does, so lights are out there ahead of muzzle getting pounded. Might has well have a rail on your 26 while you are at it... |

Gen4.
Major improvements like thinner grip and larger mag release. If you dont like the new bump on the trigger bar just file it down. |

Gen2. No LCI and no MIM. This. Absolutely this. Glock lost their damn minds with the Gen 4. Inferior finish to the 2 and 3. Inferior internals. Goofy assed finger grooves, and gimmicks. It's like Glock wanted to fuck up their own reputation. Some 4's have the teflon finish http://i59.tinypic.com/2qa8sap.jpg Nice. Never seen one in the wild, but nice. The old Tenifer under anything, is still a better option. I work around some seriously evil gorp, and it gets everywhere. The shit eats stainless like nothing. The old Tenifer will stain(Attractive actually)and that's it. The new process is not as resistant. |

What is blue label pricing?
I saw a Gen 1 Glock in person before. I was stunned! |
