I don't think one has anything to do with the other. In NC, we have no laws dealing with open carry, so it is technically legal. Concealed carry requires a permit. As said, one has nothing to do with the other though |

You really need to read up on the laws in your area. For example, in my city open carry is illegal unless you have a CCW permit.

Open carry is legal here. I don't know why I wouldn't be able to open carry just because I have a ccw.

As said, one has nothing to do with the other though Its not technically legal because of not having any laws it is legal because of several State Supreme rulings. The court in State v. Dawson citing State v. Huntly ruled that the citizen is at perfect liberty to carry his gun either for business or amusement. |
