So, I'm surrounded by Seahawks fans. I know football is sorta new to them, but damn, some of the ignorance in the shit-talking is unreal. Some are even talking "Three-peat" (or Three-Pete, I guess)... One guy at work, a Black guy, was saying some really dumb shit like "Well, the Pats had an easier schedule, but the league fucked Seattle by giving them a harder schedule on purpose but never did that to other defending champs..." etc...
Pro Tip: Saying "Shut your whore mouth, Shaniqua, men are talking" may result in complaints to the boss. Just FYI... |

That is why the league blasted Belichick. He basically told them he didn't care what they said. Belichick gained nothing from the taping. Not a thing. So why did he do it? Because he's a control freak. All of the good coaches are. They look for any advantage possible. "This is exactly how I was told to do it 18 years ago by a Kansas City Chiefs scout. I tried it, but I didn't think it helped us. Bill Belichick was wrong because he videotaped signals after a memo was sent out to all of the teams saying not to do it. But what irritates me is hearing some reactions from players and coaches. These players don't know what their coaches are doing. And some of the coaches have selective amnesia because I know for a fact there were various teams doing this. That's why the memo was sent to everybody. That doesn't make (Belichick) right, but a lot of teams are doing this." |
