Has anyone ever tried this? I want to get a set of diopter sights for my 9mm build and of course the Centurion sets are gone the way of the dinosaur. You can, however, pick up a set of HK-416 sights for around $115. Has anyone here tried sights at this height on an AR? How hard is it to get a proper sight picture? Co-witness with optics is not an issue here.

I used the Brownell's HK style on mine and it worked just fine.
Didn't use a riser just right on the rail

That's exactly what I was looking at. They aren't too low to get a decent sight picture?

too low, needs a riser, which means get ar sights to begin with
