Decent enough food but ours are always packed and it seems that the goal of the wait staff is to get you to leave as soon as possible. I refer to them as "Unfriendly's".

I lost a pair of PRESCRIPTION Oakley sunglasses at our local IHOP. (BROKEN ARROW, OK upscale east Tulsa)
Left them on the table while I paid for the wife and me, walked out to the car in the parking lot, realized the glasses weren't on my head and immediately walked back into the IHOP to look for them and they were gone. I asked the girl at the register to go to the back and see if someone had found them...nope, nada, zip..."wasn't me"... Congratulations to the busboy (or whomever stole them...) they were probably still bragging and showing them off to everyone. If you didn't have MY EXACT PRESCRIPTION, the glasses were fucking WORTHLESS to them. Fuqqwipes.

IHOP is fricking nasty. I can do the Waffle House or Cracker Barrel on road trips. But every experience with IHOP has always been bad. I dont think I have stepped into a Dennys since the early 90's so I cant really speak on them anymore.

Exact opposite deal for me my last two visits, though I was going after work, ~3am. Took forever to get a seat, took forever to get my order placed, took a long time to get my food, took an insanely long time to get my bill and I stood around at the payment counter for way too long as well. The two people operating the place were hiding out in the back somewhere the whole time both times. I like the 'local' restaurant Shari's instead. The waitress I've had a few times is very frisky and entertaining. |
