Well, the Epson NX400 is eating paper. I've reset or zeroed out the settings and nothing works. Still shredding paper. We changed the settings last week to print with heavier paper (card stock), but I've since changed it back and it worked well for a few days. I think my wife may have pulled some paper out the wrong direction when she was frustrated with the card stock (before I changed the settings) and this may have damaged something mechanical. Just a hunch.
Our other printer, A HP PSC1350, will not print, do a cartridge alignment or test sheet. Nothing. We haven't used this printer since getting a new computer and moving from Windows ME to Windows 8, so I think there may be a compatibility issue. I read something while digging through troubleshooting threads on computer sites about HP not supporting this printer any longer and that Windows 7 would not work with his.
So at this point I give up.
