Yeah, the guy I'm covering called in sick and now I'm supposed to be going there at 1800 tonight. Just fucking great
I'm going to be located three miles from the courthouse. I got front row seats to the hottest action in this bitch. And the best part about it.....I have no weapons of any kind I can take with me. That's right gents, I'm FOing Update: Talked to a captain that spent the night up there last night. Supposedly we will have an armed escort, bug out vehicle ,and location if shit goes crazy. In addition supposedly an FBI task force is shacked up in our hotel. Feeling slightly better about the whole thing now |

Best I can tell, law enforcement are not allowed to intervene. These apparently are protected class citizens. If they are harmed while committing a crime, that is an injustice that will attract the attention of the White House, apparently. Basically your only option is to watch and take pictures.

There is a training course that you can take as a pilot to allow you to be armed when you fly. I forget the name, but talk to your bosses to see what the deal is. It is based out of Artesia NM, and provided by the Air Marshals.

They are full of crap. Which area are you staying in? There is nothing going on around the airport and Clayton had protests but no rioting. South St Louis had big protests and some minor rioting. |
