Seriously, STLRN stated that the Marines aren't wearing MARPAT in the desert. He said their reasoning was that its not a good idea to have a different uniform on when the rounds start flying (or something to that effect).

Does anyone have any pics of Marines in Afghanistan or Kuwait? Are they wearing the chocolate chips like everyone else?

All the footage I've seen of SA & Kuwait is the Tri-D, not Chocolate Chip. I don't have any links, just footage of stuff on local TV News.

That makes no sense, since the Royal Guard (and let's face it, those will be the only forces with the balls/stupidity to resist) uses dark olive colored uniforms. I'd be more afraid of wearing Woodland (which some of our forces are deploying with) than Desert MARPAT.
