As large as this site is, there is bound to be some felons posting here. I am pretty sure of at least one.
Should convicts get the boot from ARFCOM? |

I know of at least one.
Seems like a nice guy, paperwork felon. He is a vendor too IIRC (No, not gun stuff). |
|
|
It very much matters what their "crime" was, some things that are felonies shouldn't be crimes at all, others should be misdemeanors at worst.
|
|
I haven't been here very long.
The only one I remember was the militia fucktard from MI, who was growing weed, had built a full auto 1919, and was welding up de-milled grenades, iirc. He started a long thread about it. Also there's a couple guys here who are prohibited persons because of DV convictions. |

View Quote I think we should ban anyone with less than +5 for feed back. Or is arfcom like playboy, they read it for the articles? Better yet, how about we Mind our Business and let the cards fall where they will. The last few years have seen a lot of folks who fly the flag of freedom on their shoulder, but their hearts are elsewhere. |
|
My only concern is maybe selling a gun in the EE, since I tend to trust Arfcom members 100% that they're good to go. Whatever, I'll take my chances.
As far as getting the boot, hell I just hang out here, it's not my place. Not my call. |
|
|
If NY caught every criminal I'd be a felon. I've owned multiple slingshots with wrist braces at different times. Yeah I'm kind of a bad ass.
|
|
Not a felon, but why in the fuck would they be booted from the site?

I'm glad I got into my legal issues at the misdemeanor level, and took those as a second chance at living different. Thankfully, the misdemeanors were what I got caught for.

So far 7 people have voted felon. Why would you ever trust an Arfcom poll to be accurate? LOL no shit. I've never even been arrested (In America anyway ) and I voted Felon! Retard thread is retarded. |

I have a feeling this thread is gonna hug the CoC very tightly.
|
|
Sure aren't
I have done some "questionable" activities though while I was younger, good thing I grew up |

If you think you haven't committed a felony you are probably wrong.

They are here and very active in LEO, libertarian, and tattoo threads.

I know I got no business trying to decide who should or should not be here. I'm just a paying guest.

Keep singing the "I'm not a felon" song, but you're all one crazy ex-wife (or ex-husband) away from getting locked up over false allegations of domestic violence.
If the number of "I'm getting divorced" threads isn't a wake up call, well, I don't know what is. |

Your poll asks "are you a convicted felon, then in your first post you ask "should felons be booted from arfcom?"
Poll results will be flawed because GD reading comprehension SUX. 87% will be answering the "are you" question, and the other 87% will be answering the "should cons get the boot" question. We're all gonna die. |

The only felon I know is a former coworker at Domino's, he stuck delivering pizzas because of something marijuana related.
The only inkie I know is a current coworker, he's a nice guy but a hothead and constantly running into trouble with management, but he can't have this job with a felony. |
|

Friend from high school is a convicted felon because of a Marijuana growing charge from 15 years ago. I see the guy maybe 3-4 a year at community events and stuff. Not a bad person at all but the guy cannot get a job because of his felony conviction....
Seems kind of retarded....served his sentence and is punished for life now. |

Hell...I am posting from Prison right now. Working on my GED.

It doesn't count if you didn't get caught and the applicable statutes of limitations have all run out.
