Va is weird.  40 bucks for fresh and salt statewide, with exceptions for stocked trout waters.  I don't even try to keep up with it anymore I just fish off of a Pier or private property for freshwater.

QFT, then add hunting with all the cute little stamps for saltwater. Also you need a lawyer to follow you around to explain all the laws, that sometimes they change in a non public meeting.

$37 here in AZ.
It's pretty much all inclusive though, includes Trout Stamp, multiple poles, and urban fishing.

QFT.  The striped bass regulations are ridiculous too.  I don't hunt but from reading the regulations that looks even more absurd.

It's getting to the point where you're going to need a JD degree just to hunt or fish anymore

Meanwhile, commercial fishing vessels prowl around with fish vacuums and more deer are killed with wheeled vehicles than guns or bows...

If you want lobster +$10  or abalone +$22 for each card. Extra rod +$14.50. etc.

VA stocking and fishing sucks for my area don't even buy it. I can catch my lake trout and my stripers in TN.

Non resident TN with trout is $84 a year. I would buy it if it was twice that

Oregon resident:
33 plain license
42.75 w columbia river basin endorsement, which is damn near all rivers on the north side of the state
+ 26.50 for combined angling tag(salmon, halibut, sturgeon). If you fill that you can buy hatchery harvest tag for another 16.50
+ 17 for 2 rod
+ 7 annual shellfish license

Hunting is about as bad

Sport PAC is 164.75

Eta once you figure all that out each lake and each river has its own rules, species , limit, size, bait allowed and these rules can change from day to day so you basically have to look it up before you go anywhere and I'm always nervous I missed something.   They do a good job stocking and managing though, if they didn't, there would be no fish.  I miss ohio, 19 bucks and the rules are the rules....

Eta what do I win?
